Article IV

Section 2. Qualifications to vote

Every citizen of the United States, 18 years of age or over, who makes proper proof of residence in this state for 30 days next preceding any election, or for such other period as required by law, shall be entitled to vote in the election.

Every citizen of the United States, twenty-one years of age or over, who has been a legal resident of this state for six months and of the county for 60 days next preceding any election, shall be entitled to vote in the election, except that in a presidential election year persons who make proper proof of residence in this state for 30 days immediately preceding the last voter registration day may register and vote for a president and a vice-president of the United States only.

Every citizen of the United States, of the age of twenty-one years and upwards, who shall have been a citizen for ninety days, and shall have resided in the State or Territory one year, in the county four months, and in the precinct sixty days next preceding any election, shall be entitled to vote at such elections except as herein otherwise provided.
