Section 28. Yeas or nays

Record votes

Upon motion made in either house and seconded by one fifth of the members present, the yeas and nays upon any question shall be taken and entered upon the journal.

Time of assembly

The Senate and House of Representatives shall meet biennially on the first Wednesday after the first Monday in February next after their election, unless a different day shall be provided by law; and when assembled, shall be denominated the General Assembly. Neither house shall proceed upon public business unless a majority of all the members are actually present.

Yeas or nays

Upon motion made and seconded in either House, by one fifth of the members present, the yeas and nays upon any question shall be taken and entered upon the journals.
