Section 2. State treasurer, appointment, term

Elective state officers; location of offices

There shall be elected at each general biennial election a Secretary of State, a Superintendent of Public Instruction, a State Treasurer, a Commissioner of the Land Office, an Auditor General, and an Attorney General, for the term of two years. They shall keep their offices at the seat of government, and shall perform such duties as may be prescribed by law.

State treasurer, appointment, term

A state treasurer shall be appointed by a joint vote of the two houses of the legislature, and shall hold his office for the term of two years.
