Section 18. Compensation of acting governor

Salary of successor

The legislature shall provide that the salary of any state officer while acting as governor shall be equal to that of the governor.

The lieutenant governor or other state officer in the line of succession, while performing the duties of governor, shall receive the same compensation as the governor.
