Classification of Supreme Court judges

Supreme court judges; term of office

The judges of the supreme court shall, immediately after the first election under this Constitution, be classified by lot; so that one shall hold for the term of one year, one for two years, one for three years, one for four years, and one for five years; and at all subsequent elections the term of each of said judges shall be for five years.
