Secretary - auditor - treasurer

A secretary of state, an auditor of state and a treasurer of state shall be elected by the qualified electors at the same time that the governor is elected and for a four-year term commencing on the first day of January next after their election, and they shall perform such duties as may be provided by law.

A Secretary of State, Auditor of State and Treasurer of State, shall be elected by the qualified electors, who shall continue in office two years, and until their successors are elected and qualified; and perform such duties as may be required by law.

A Secretary of State, Auditor of Public Accounts, and Treasurer, shall be elected by the qualified electors, who shall continue in office two years. The Secretary of Slate shall keep a fair register of all the official acts of the Governor, and shall, when required, lay the same, together with all papers, minutes and vouchers relative thereto, before either branch of the General Assembly, and shall perform such other duties as shall be assigned him by law.
