Continuance in office; continued existence of offices; application of prior statute and rules

All laws relating to the authority, jurisdiction, practice, and procedure of district and probate courts under laws heretofore enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the Territory of Arizona and in force at the time of the admission of the State into the Union, and not inconsistent with this Constitution, shall, so far as applicable, apply to and govern superior courts, until altered or repealed. Until otherwise provided, superior courts have the same appellate jurisdiction in cases arising in courts of justices of the peace as district courts now have under said laws.
