Service of retired justices and judges

Any retired Judge of the Supreme or Superior Court who is drawing retirement pay is, with the consent of the litigants involved, qualified and empowered to serve, without additional compensation, as a Supreme or Superior Court Judge upon the call of the court in which he is asked to serve, provided, however, that when serving outside his county of residence, he shall receive his necessary traveling and subsistence expenses.
