Supreme court; clerk

The judges of the Supreme Court shall appoint a clerk of that court, who shall be removable at their pleasure and shall receive such compensation, by salary only, as may be provided by law; and the Supreme Court shall have power to fix said salary until such salary shall be determined by law.
